ansen slot mags

Post by gmopar59 »

Have steelies on the car, also have dog dishes (not on at the mo, prefer the look). Fancy a set of ansen mags. Small bolt pattern. 15 x 7" 4" backspace, 4" PCD. Would these fit all round or would 6" on front be better? What do you think. Thanks, Gerry

Well it's Ansen slot mags all the way for me Gerry, but I think you'll find 7" rims on the front will rub the chassis leg and clip the front of the wheel arch.

Blue will know for sure! ;)

From all the research i did Ivor is spot on.........6" on the front should give no issues and are about as big as you'd want to go.

7" on the back is fine....dependant on rear end setup i know of some guys in the states that have even managed to get 8's under the rear.......

Personally 6 at the front and 7 at the back should be just fine.

Here's a useful tool for finding out the what the rubber should look like on the rims.......

plenty of aussie A bodies running 14 inch 7 inch wide wheel on the front

VF VG dart-a-likes and standard fitment on RT charger

can't think 15 inch would make much odds

standard pacerb steel wheels were 6.5

may be wider track due to disks in the land down under or larger turning circule due to backwards RHD steering (idler and steering box on the chassis facing forwards )
