correct Adam

best unmolested bird over here pi55ed on all the restored cars we have had solid body, rub through paint here and there scratches parking lot dongs etc but a very good looking honest car

Don had it painted it was then lost in my opinion,, Don has a good tale to tell about that car it was not straight foreward to sell that in the UAS,

I'm a bit confused now Dunc, I thought the car was unregistered when I bought it off Paul M, I remember going to Brighton DVLA and pleading for a short number, which is how I got APN51H ...... unless I was trying to get the Q off it??? great vid there by the way mucker :thumbright:

This has been bugging me, I'm sure the car wasn't registered when I bought it, but then I might be suffering from what I call "senior dimensions"! Or maybe the Mimacks just stuck some old plates on for shows etc, and I know both father and son Mimacks were dealers which of course explains the trade plates you saw Dunc. I still cant think of the guy's name who bought the car at BJ but i'll keep trying to find it. The second photo was taken at Worthing Sunny Sunday, parked next to the 'Bird you can just see the right rear quarter of my '64 409 SS Impala 4 speed. I wasn't going to sell that car but I got such a good offer for it I let it go. Its just sat up in the hills just north of here rusting away now, such a shame.
