My plan is to flat & polish the new paint and bolt all the shiny bits on.
Buy a new clutch and fit that and the steel bellhousing from Blue that's meandering across the country in my general direction.
Then give the thing a damn good thrashing...
No-one will believe you...

Finish what I started over Xmas!
Get it running right!
Get it sounding like a V8 with no leaks!
New/updated cooling system installed!
Make Garys picnic, NATS and HRDs in the car and get at least 1000 miles on it!
Due to my 2015 calendar I think that's realistically it on finances and time!

Well I need to start saving to (hopefully) go to the USA for another road trip with Drew this year.
See how that (saving) goes then.
Not off to a good start. I just ordered some Koni FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) shocks for the Corvette.
The only thing that annoys me at times is the harshness of the suspension at low speed through town over potholes and not very level drain covers. When I see a pothole I can't avoid (even a shallow one) I grit my teeth in anticipation.
I have heard really good things about these shocks. They are supposed to be soft when you hit a pothole. But firm otherwise when cornering and at high speed.

They get glowing reviews on every auto forum I have looked on. From Minis to Alfas. The only negative thing I have come across on the Corvette forums is that they tend to lower the car a 1/2 inch so if you have already lowered your car you can end up bottoming out.

Pete,Pete wrote:What dictated the move to dry sump - more ground clearance? Getting the oil further from the Crank?
I wanted a dry sump from day one, but believe it or not, I had to say enough is enough at that time.
No gain on the ground clearance, as staying with the same sump, albeit modified. Better oiling method was the primary reason, also using the pump to drain the turbos.
