Roadrunner tribute car

Post by Derek »

Does anyone know anything about the guy selling this, has anyone been to look at anything there. He seems to have a few for sale, ex member No Neck is interested in it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plymouth-road ... 25a8628dda

I bought from him, his spelling isn't great; (mussel car!?)

He was quite a sound guy, but buyer beware as with any cars.

Happy with my Belvedere, and he accepted a sensible offer.

He sells from his house and has his own concourse Chevy.

Pm me if you want to know anything else.

He has advertised plenty of cars all seem to be tribute cars, at least he has dropped his prices, everything used to be 18k+

MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

His typing isn't that great either - surely he meant to type something more like £12,995 ;)

I don't get the "Tribute" thing that's going on at the moment.

If I go out and dress a Sierra Saphire 1.8GL as a Cosworth it shouldn't cost as much as the real thing ?

Nice cars though but overpriced imo

Interesting response Rich, the feedback is high and the pictures look reasonable.

I do always cringe when I see a Mopar with a Black engine bay but that is just my personal foible.......

What were the issues? Bodywork? Mechanics?

It was bodywork mainly. Full of filler which they never mentioned when talking on the phone. I'm not saying there dodgy sellers and the amount of cars they get in can't all be full of filler. He did get funny with me on the phone a month later when i wanted to look at another car they had and i mentioned the filler in the other one, shame really, they do have some nice looking cars. They was selling them under another ebay name, Tiger something not long ago.
Your better off looking and making your own mind up. Like i said they can't all be bad.

The problem is if you disclose all the faults a sale car has no one would even come and view it, so you have to be a bit of a bull Bananarama!,,,,,,
