I got told off last year for mentioning that there was a spot of rain forecast, for fear of putting some people off of going  .... so

I reckon all the forecasts are wrong and it'll be sunny all weekend :thumbright:

Is that ok Tony? ;)

I remember myself. Martin and a number of the MMA crew hanging onto the MMA gazebo one year, trying to stop it from blowing away, but were we downhearted, NO!

The variations in the weather are all part of the fun, until the flysheet full of water on Martin's tent pours down the back of your neck when you are trying to cook the bacon...happy days! :thumbright:

You have to ignore the weather forecasts anyway as the Pod seems to have its own weather system. :)

I remember that!

I was hanging onto the Gazebo whilst poo'ing myself in case the Lift off hood of the Bee (which was on display poles) actually DID lift off and hit another car!!!

Weather is full of BS anyway.

15 years ago they could predict the entire week with 95% accuracy.

These days they can say dry tomorrow....you wake up and its Bananarama! it down!

To many people have not attended things only to be told that everyone got sunburn!

Rain, shine or snow.........I'll be at the event!

10-15% racing anyway.....the rest is just drinking & talking BS to your MMA mates!!! :thumbright:
Dave Tildesley.....MMA-081
72 Dodge Dart
73 Plymouth Duster - SOLD

I wanna go so FAST i think i'm going to DIE!..........Then i'll shift into second!

"My Car is a work in progress, Probably never gonna get finished, never gonna have the money to Bananarama!!"

Cheers,
If I lived up norf or East I'd come over for Saturday and Sunday, but there's a second storm coming in from the west on Sunday which means 290 miles driving back through rain and gales to Newquay and that ain't no fun. Pretty Bananarama! off thb

Couple of years back driving out of the Pod in the Charger the wiper arm fell off (drivers side) It lashed down for the first 2 hrs driving. I found that keeping at 70mph the rain cleared itself enough to drive :thumbright: Take a chance Miles , weather peeps could have it wrong & Dunc aint gonna be happy with no pasty .

Ok, got over my self loathing for leaving a perfectly good Mopar in the garage and loaded the Honda. Sleep in the back, five minutes to pack (it even rhymes) and probably head up early hours Saturday morning.
