Hello from new member (St Albans/Herts)

Post by macredel »

Hello everyone!

Newbie here. After owning various s197 Mustangs (4.0 V6, 4.6 V8, and 5.0 V8) for almost 9 years I came to senses and now I am owner of 2013 Challenger R/T Plus for last month and a bit. It has axleback delete fitted by prev owner. It is loud. My neighbours must hate me now :D

I decided to sell Mustang as I will need a 5 seater in the near future. Challenger was an obvious choice :-)

It is my daily driver albeit most of the time I use it for school runs and running errands locally. This is until I will take it to Santa Pod.

My plans for near future:
* CAI by R2C (got it when I went to US last month) - mostly for looks
* Black & wide wheels - stock 245s are pathetic and not a fan of chrome
* Up-rated discs and pads
* Aftermarket radio with sat nav as I have basic unit with satellite radio

Thanks
Maciej (MacRedel)

It's great to get some Modern Mopar in the club!

We meet on 2nd Wednesday of the month in Stevenage, so not at all far from you.

Hope to see the car soon and meet you too!

Hi Pete, can you provide time and place where you guys&gals meet on 2nd Wednesdays in Stevenage? I would like to make it one day (work permitting!)

Cool. What do those modern Challengers drive like?

Loving the white. Bit of a "Vanishing Point" vibe going on there! 8-)

Challenger is different, more relaxed and yet more brutal when you stomp on it (may be due to straight pipes at the end :-)). Ride is comfier but my stangs were always lowered and on a hard setup.

Deffo gets more attention than any of my previous stangs got

It is like comparing Bruce Lee to Hulk Hogan in my opinion :D

We meet at about 8pm on the 2nd Wednesday (last night!) at The Three Horseshoes at Hooks Cross which is on the A602 just south of Stevenage going towards Ware.
The December 14th night is our annual Christmas meal, so January is when normality resumes.
