Trolley Jack recommendation?

Post by polosteve »

Hi all,

Got several old iron Jacks etc... Made by sealey, largest a 3 tonne I think. Work spot on.

I'm Looking for a lighter aluminium one that's easier to move about but that can still jack up the corner of a yank.

Any recommendations?

Cheers,

Ive got an Arcan 2000kg. Works good on full weight yanks but i would suggest a good flat floor they can bend easy on bad/uneven floors

Search on ebay...

Yep I have an ebay one. I reckon they all come from the same factory in China, it's just the label and mark up that differ.

I got mine from Costco, it's a 2tonne one, been great while I've worked on our car. Plus Costco have great returns policy if anything breaks.

I'd agree with blue, looks like most of these come from China these days. Likely from a small number of manufacturers.
