Tools used today.... Big ol electric static metal saw. Mig welder, gas welder, plasma cutter and 1964 snap on air chisel! What fun we had! So nice working from a fully equipped shop.

Cut the front crossmember out today, that. Was a tad scary. Dropping the rad, and moving it back slightly is proving to be very difficult!!

Yup Blue... New crossmember should be in this week... Going to have to steal lower rad parts from a Jag to make this thing look and fit right. Channeling a truck 9 inches brings a lot of problems with it!

Well, truck has moved yet again.... Now on the ground floor of the barn....

Sunday we looked at the door fit and gaps. It was looking OK, but to get it all lined up meant a lot of pulling, pushing and twisting... That was causing stress and tension in some places. I felt that would let go in the future, and the mis fit would return!

So the body came off, the roof was removed, and I cut the rockers in the front!
So, I had the body split into 3 pieces!!

Few hours later, and all parts are back on the frame, ready to align again and weld back together. This time no stress areas! Scary stuff this.

Oh and the plates arrived on Monday... So the truck is officially called "HORRID"!

Started making seats today, not sure if I am going to do 2 of these, or do a bench seat in similar fashion.... This is just a quick mock up one. Final will be much cooler!
