UKNSA 2018 Events!

Post by Pete »

Hi there Racers!
Here is a brief outline of the UKNSA Racing plans for 2018.

Firstly, we propose to run TWO Championships in recognition of the current status of the Class, and racing in general in the UK at present.

There will be a series of “MSA-Compliant” Races in the Calendar, and trophies will be awarded at each event.

There will be an overall “Championship” winner at the end of the season, plus “runner-up” trophies.

There will also be series of “Lifestyle” Races in the calendar, and trophies will be awarded at each event.

There would be an overall “Championship” winner at the end of the season, plus “runner-up” trophies.

There will be No “Unifying” award between the two Championships.

However, IF a Racer enters in both Classes and WINS both Classes, an award in recognition of this achievement will be given.

For a bit of fun, we propose to run a couple of “Publicity” exhibition races at a couple of events to raise the awareness of the Class and the cars that compete.

These events will not contribute to either Championships.

We hope to meet up at the “Hot Rod Drags”, which for the UKNSA Class will currently be a “Run What You Brung” event, again with NO points contributing to either Championship.

Here are the agreed dates that have been arranged with the Race Organisers (Please see the Attachment).

All Championship events are at Santa Pod.

The Committee will also explore other opportunities to add to the Championship race Calendar, but at present this is the agreed list.
We will keep you posted on any other developments.

It will also put in place some dedicated help for the Racers at the track to help with information and organisation to ensure races for 2018 run smoothly.
Thanks for your continued support, and here’s to a great 2018!
