Happy Birthday to me !

Post by Mossy68 »

It was my Birthday yesterday
My lovely lady was on a girls holiday , and the kids are staying over tonight for a family day tomorrow.
So yesterday I decided to treat myself for 24 hours of fun.
And hired this ..............

Really gutted it ain’t out for its 50th , but I’ll get there.

Had to go for 2 wheels , as there’s no where local I could hire a 68 Hemi Mopar for a day !!! ;)

Launch control , abs, traction control , quick shift ( clutch less up, and down ).............etc
Quite a machine.
The Coronet is safe , and missed by me and the kids.
Life is slowly settling down again , and I'll get time to get the old girl back out again \:D/

I had a lovely 96 Blade (RRT)... one of the best bikes I have ever ridden and really Bananarama! was still tucked away in my garage. I got John McGuinness to sign the tank just after he broke the 130mph lap average speed at the TT in 2007.

All great this end ta... life is very good at last. Knee good, kids good (and sensible now), retirement ace, all good to be honest.

Will you have room to keep the Coronet at home?

Love an early blade. I do have a street fighter project in mind for one. But all in good time.

Glad to hear your sorted mate. All takes time !!

The Coronet would squeeze into the garage, but leave no room for anything else !!
Still got my old Zed 1 at my brothers, and tools at dads. So , I’m planning to get straight once moved , and create a bit of a workshop , so that it can be worked on at home.
Claire and I literally have double everything from 2 flats , so I’m expecting garage to be full of gear for a while , whilst we sort out what we are keeping or not.

Saying that , it is a through garage. Wonder if I could fit the Coronet in the back garden
