That looks surprisingly normal (for you).
Did you buy that massive truck from John Connolley? What became of that?

Correct Pete i did have John C truck but this Crew Cab 4x4 came up and i couldn't resist so did a swap
First thing first is to take it all apart don't take enough pictures and document nothing.
Place every part of the truck in a big pile

Next Up everything nut Bolt pannel washer part was sent for Sandblasting
Straight after Blasting, everything was cleaned over and over again to remove all sand and then sprayed with 2k etching primer
I use U-POL S20:20 2K HS Primer

Fair play to you, you never mess about, great project. I also think the Cummins is a great choice, big old Diesel with bags of Torque, what’s not to love

The engine got a mini-rebuild ( was running low mileage)
Mounts where placed and the cross member got butchered
Painted engine and put chassis back together with rubber seals joints gaskets etc
Also fitted a toe bar which I don't think will break

The Gearbox in the DAF lorry uses the gearbox as its rear engine mount.
I drilled the rear engine bell housing bit and made some mounts to cross member.
Next so the gearbox would fit under the transmission tunnel i took a grinder to the aluminium box and cut it up a bit
