Hi,
I'm thinking of selling my South African Dodge SE (383 big block) at a classic car auction. I have advertised it for some time now, but have not had any serious offers.
Can anyone recommend a classic car auction?
Or if anyone would like to make an offer, please do so.

Bit of a long shot but there is a classic car auction being held on the 6th oct ( I think ) at East Anglian Motor Auctions in Wymondham near Norwich , they have a web site and always heaving, can help out if need be . I know its a long way but it is a big event, just a thought .

Re: Dodge SE (383 big block) to auction
Interesting subject.
Having been in the motor trade for more years than I care to mention all I can say is that it will largely depend on who is there on the day. Two years ago I bought a couple of bikes in the Bonhams auction at the bike show, the auctioneer very obviously ran up all the lots as much as he could, potentially good for sellers if someone tags on at the last moment,or wasting entry fees by keeping sending the vehicle back round again and again if the reserve is too high.
What it might do is present you with an offer, maybe much lower than you want, but at least you’ll have the opportunity to say no.

I get the feeling not much is selling right now unless it's five grand or less....

I noticed that too Blue. My pal Kev has a lovely early Mustang notchback for sale at under 10K and not a sniff. Brexit and all that maybe???
Good luck with the sale, looks to be a lovely solid, clean car

Thanks for all your replies. I've decided to put the Dodge up for auction on ebay.

Really surprised this hasn't been snapped up. Rare beast, in fantastic, original condition.
Best of luck with the sale.
