LOWERED satellite rear suspension

just revamped rear suspension on satellite all new bushs shackles shocks blasted and painted leafs new firmfeel lowering brackets and shimmed up alignment and angled the diff
note the differant springs right side has heavier spring for traction

Very nice....great chipping away at bits like this...looks great and the new bushes will make a big difference. A job that's on my list for next year.

so right,
the old ones were so seized had to cut the old shackles and front bolts, burn out old bushes cut out old shock bushes as they were siezed as well 31/2 hrs to get em out 1hr to put back🤬
nice smooth suspension now specially with the new shocks didnt realise how bad they were👍
IF ITS ON WHEELS, LOWER IT!!

Ha ha....yes, can be awkward. We did the same on my pals 66 Fury, ended up burning the old ones out. I bought a cheap press kit for pushing the new ones in (you can use all thread and big washers with sockets but the kit makes easy work of it). I treated myself when I retired to a £600 set of DeWalt cordless 18v tools. The box included an impact gun. I thought it was a gimmick and a 'box filler' until I used it to release the front mount and axle U bolts. Amazing piece of kit. Took seconds rather than the hour it took to get the first bracket off! :thumbright:

well...i occasionally prise a bit of documentation out of obliging australians who undoubtedly stole it out of a skip behind the factory when Mitsubishi where having a clear out
