This might be a long shot, but worth a try!
Just replaced the steering pump and hoses and noticed the connector on the top of the steering box has been cross threaded at some time, and bodged tight. So trying to replace it, but struggling to find one or the actual fitting size/type.
Don't suppose anyone on here knows? Or even better has one they don't need? From memory the smaller end is an American thread that even Pirtek over here don't keep.

Re: Power Steering Box Connector Question
The '68 power steering pump is 7/16" JIC x 1/2" ORB. The '69+ is bigger at the JIC/flare end, but I don't know by how much. I'm guessing it's 1/2" JIC.
Even though the fitting is shown and said to be designed for an O-ring, the design is no different and can have a standard copper crush washer put in its place. Same thing.
Ps. Sorry I’m late to the party
