Hi, I’ve found & purchased a very reasonably priced ‘69 c body rocker switch to see if it works.
It’s a NOS aftermarket ‘SL-68’ which ‘Replaces 2947763 and 2864466’.... hope it works ... I can’t justify/afford the prices people are asking for the proper original toggle switch 2809045 (Older 2771175).
Anybody know if it’ll do the job pls?

OK good chance its the same switch with a different plastic lever

also a good chance you can swap the lever over if you really want to

if it isn't the same switch you may find it has extra connectors

if it does usually no problem you just end up taking off the plastic connector on the wires in the car and sticking the individual connectors onto the parts of the switch you need.

then check it doesn't short on anything

I think the B body switch is very similar

and i think you could drive out the pin and swap your lever on instead of the rocker used by the b body and later C bodies

i can't promise cos all i did was look at them on the internet.

but based on the pull switches used on lesser models like mine
the body of the switch stays the same
the mounting occasionally differs
the pull knob shaft length differs

but ultimately its the same switch

chrysler appear to be a company of "habit" so they may well have had the same switch for Posh models across the board with just the plastic bit being different
