Wonder how much NAPA and WIXX paid him for that!

Interesting though. I always use the WIXX filters by chance rather than choice as I know nothing about the inner workings/ quality of them. Good choice by the look of it.

Interesting that the NAPA and WIX internals looked identical as did the Purolator and Bosch.
Maybe the same supplier??

Have WIX as a spare. Currently using a K&N oil filter in the Dart.

Notice seal retention which is good
hole size and method of creation NICE n BIG
the fact that the anti drian back seal actually covers the inside of those holes....
and proper metal threaded part for mounting rather than the normal punched/pressed n threaded set up on less worthy cans.

there might be an old brillo pad inside for all I know but they at least put a bit of time and effort into the rest of it

all might fit, but a bit of work on the fram web site application section is necessary to check thread and seal

PH8A is the standard mopar filter......

longer and fatter P550299 (51776/FL299) P550580 (51189)


P551267 (51641 - probably biggest due to diameter)

P551603 (51459)

P553411 (51411)

P554407 (another 51459)

or PH977A


have attached a comparison chart

if you have a mopar engine with the usual pint pot sized PH8A Fram on it
the Ryco filter Z9 is the same as the ford AFL-1 and the Fram PH8A

look up Z9 on the spreadsheet and the stuff in the OEM column also does the same Job.
allowing you to get down your local Volvo garage or Toyota garage where you can relieve them of old stock that they won't be selling anytime soon

Lada filter 70000-3209-1 fits mopars yes sireee.

The whole things a can of worms, the same manufacturers make filters for different brands and the brands change suppliers often apparently. So the innards of that filter you cut open might be different from the next one you buy.
