MOCGB - Track day at Santa Pod - 5th July 2019

Post by Pete »

I have been approached by Roy Stapleton ("Slowhand") with a very kind offer for MMA Members.

The Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain (MOCGB) have hired Santa Pod on the 5th July as a private and limited entry event.

Pre-book only.

Roy has offered you guys a price to race on the day of £35, and you can contact him for more information regarding the day itself, and payment directly (see below on here), or on his mobile which is 07860 737676.

£35.00 gets you: your car and your partner/ guest in with just you driving

An extra £5.00 will mean your partner/ guest gets to take your car up the track too.

Spectators are a fiver in advance or on the gate.

Once 100 cars are on track, the event is full. You snooze, you loose (just like Drag Racing!)

You can even book and schedule the options online:

https://www.mocgb.net/index.php/santa-pod

Many thanks, and hats off to Roy for organising.

Pete.

Thanks Pete,

Three weeks to go and we still have a few spaces left so book here https://www.mocgb.net/index.php/santa-pod and run all day for just £35.00.

Cant be beat for value!

We need a few Mopars along to show the Mustangs what a first class rear end looks like!

It's a fantastic deal so get booking!!!

A few spaces left & cut off is Thursday morning so if you haven't booked, but fancy a go at the quarter mile, (all day for £35.00) book in via this link https://www.mocgb.net/index.php/santa-pod. See you Friday

See you there, Roy.

Incidentally, if your car is Permitted (tagged) for an MSA/MUK event, even though it is a RWYB, the car has to have all the safety equipment and PPE as if it were a Permitted event. You can also sign on with your MUK License.

Thanks Roy.
Actually the Challenger was only running on 7 cylinders at the MOCGB event - a plug had gone down - and STILL faster than all the Mustangs!!!! ;) ;) ;) ;)
