A new pb on friday for me in the dart of 13.54@100.83 mph.
I thought the whole weekend was very laid back and grass roots like it used to be and the weather helped of course !
cheers,Longshot

Thank you. it was a shame the pinto was not able tun in the suprstock for Shelby and the rwyb for my other girls but it had a suspected head gasket and could not risk it, I did a run with Shelby as a passenger and its my fave pic pulling a wheelie two up,Mossy68 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 19 9:45 pm I'm with you lot. Definitely a "back to the old days " vibe.
Great weekend all round. Only wished it was longer !!!
A massive thanks to everyone. Organisers, as well as this great club. Was a pleasure to help out on our stand.
Great cars from the Watts shop. Well done Dunc. All worth watching.

Reminds me of my first wheels up and that was with my lad as passenger. Not in your league of cars mate but air under both wheels is still a wheelie in my book

Yes enjoyed our chat matey,, its a busy event for me and I try my best to catch up,, presssssuurrrreeSuper Sloth wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 19 3:14 pm Cracking event.
We only managed 1 day this year, but felt that the sparkle that had been lacking the last couple of years was well and truely back.
Had a little success with the car following a slew of mods over the last 12 months. We managed to bring our ET down from a glacial 18.4 to a backed up 15.55 @ 88/89 mph so we're hanging with the slower big block cars now which I'm very happy about.
Nice to catch up with some of you. Particularly enjoyed finally catching up with Mr Watts properly and getting to hear the storys behind the duster and the pinto race cars.
Can't wait for next year!
Well said !!!Cannonball wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 19 3:33 pm Back to the good old days was a cracking weekend, our camp had a blast, regular people need to get a grip and chance the weather I am convinced due to previous yrs bad weather that is why numbers are down at this event,, use it or lose it, and that's not a good thought, its our premier event Dragstalgia a close second now,,
Big up to the Main men that sort this thank you for sticking with it The Watts shop,,![]()
