mopareuronats 2020

Post by TonyO »

Hi folks, a quick update. We do not have a firm date for next years show but I envisage the month of August. We will have a EuroNats next year!
Looking at Thursday opening.......many folks ask for this. To open between 12 pm and 10 pm on Thursday is expensive as must have, medics, fire service, security and personnel which adds to an additional cost. For Thursday there will be no food/drink vendors on hand ONLY toilet/shower facilities.
If we open Thursday we can then extend track time for Friday. From 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM thats an extra 2 hrs racing!
Costs for early opening will have to be covered, a fee of between £5.00 and £10.00 will need to be implemented.
Whats your thoughts on this?

=D> do it, good idea, whats another £5 or £10 over the whole weekend
If you look at the price of other life style events (not santa pod based) there alot more money for the long weekend, over 10yrs ago the americana used to be £90 for the event (yes I know they had to pay for the bands) and that was with my 'bring an american car' discount

Excellent news, Tony - thanks to the EuroNats committee once again.

Well worth the extension at extra cost in my mind - it enables you to get all set up and not lose track time on Friday getting camped and organised, etc.

I also hope there is a fair "Gap" between the Nats and "Dragstalgia" as that is a massively popular event, and must take attendees way from the EuroNats.

Really good idea and I would be happy to pay extra. As Pete points out set up takes a big chunk out of Friday,it gets my vote.

I agree to try and not clash with the Supernats. It's nt a fully static show, they have a Saturday Cruise Duncan!
