Always had a camera with me when I left the house in the ‘70s, there was always interesting cars around especially if you went into central London.

I lived in Scotland all through the late 60s, 70s and into the early 80s. In that time I saw one Buick Electra in an auction in Falkirk and a Shelby Mustang in a side street in Weston Super Mare when I went to visit my grandparents on holiday. That was it. I'm jealous! :D

Just lucky I guess but there were a lot of American cars around, several people that dealt in them, a couple of drag racers, a custom paint shop and a tyre company which was a bit of a hang out.

Sounds great. I got my fix from TV shows like Kojak and Starsky and Hutch etc (and my Hotwheels catalogue) :D
