well i guess its just a space between outer body and inner strenghthening or chassis.

i don't know gen2 chargers at all

i do know the same term used for the gap between cowl and tunnel/underdash at the front...

Plenum is physics term to mean space, Its a space enclosed or partially enclosed by a boundary

has the chap in the video used the correct term
does he just mean "the boot" :)

if i get into the boot on my A body the bit under the window is single skin bodywork on a 68-70 US car it may be enclosed i guess

Dave, you need stop getting in your boot, just sleep on the sofa when you’re in trouble, like the rest of us. :D

I think this is what you are referring to https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-Dodge-Ch ... 632-2357-0

Having had my charger nearly completely apart I can say that this does add a fair amount of strength/support to the deck filler panel and trunk opening!

Yes indeed it’s propose is to add strength and also ties in the deck filler to package tray. Meant to have some sound dampening purpose too. Although it only welds in at the front and back with the sides being stuck down with seam sealer. :thumbright:
