Re: '68 Charger RT
Excellent work. Have been there myself and It’s pretty scary at this point but this looks to be going incredibly well. I never had that much rust under the lower window channels but my rear frame rails under the trunk floor were practically gone.
Really enjoying the photos and the thread, keep up the good work. There is some comfort in knowing I’m not the only one crazy enough to embark on a project of this scale

Seriously impressive work there, great stuff, keep the pics coming. This and the St Albans Charger show what can be done these days.

getting ahead of myself a little here(again)roof was heavily pitted thin and quite a few pin holes(vinyl top car).lots of cutting and grinding later turns out the roof structure was not in too bad a shape with only one small repair needed

Re: '68 Charger RT
Amazing wok, but I didn't know you could get all those internal panels now.
When I got into the hobby you could not even get quarter panels! It was NOS or cut-offs from crashed vehicles.

Re: '68 Charger RT
hi Pete yep agreed, did one of these around 10 years ago and nothing available, luckily it needed only frame work and outer 1/4 skins which were nasty at that time.id heard before lockdown that AMD where looking for the main roof inner structures to replicate which would be great

Absolutely outstanding work there! Having made and replaced panels etc for my old 66 Fury I fully appreciate the skill involved in what you are doing. The detailed pics are extremely good learning tools....keep up the great work, this will be a beautiful car when it's done
