It’s a craze I don’t understand at all…

I’m a fan of aftermarket wheels, but think they need to suit the car. I’m with Steve on a couple he’s pointed out on those links, don’t think they suit the cars for my taste.

Each to their own though, keeps the hobby interesting.

Steve wrote: Thu Mar 17, 22 3:23 pm That worries me Ali...how can you not notice wheels when you look at a car :-k

:D :D :D :D

I take your point though, I am going to look at them with my eyes shut from now on 8-) Your car looks amazing on the wheels it has, please don't change them, I beg you..... :thumbright:
it may be that I don't spend too much time looking Steve, just a quick glance and move on, unless the car is so good then I may spend a little more time and get into the wheels

Only the one Mopar worth posting today (but it is nice and it comes with steels for Steve)
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970- ... lenger-54/

Here's a few others I quite like for balance:-
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964- ... underbolt/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969- ... 0-hertz-3/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969- ... -monterey/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-pontiac-gto-65/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972- ... urst-olds/

A surprising number of sawzall conversions on BAT at the moment too:-
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1981-honda-prelude-2/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1982- ... e-rover-6/
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1979-datsun-280zx-24/
On the basis of looks, the Honda and the 280 both seem to work as convertibles imho. The Ranger less so.

Finally, if you fancy a bit of a project:-

Great selection today....wheels all to my liking you will be pleased to know (apart from the Cougar) :D

Love the Challenger, perfect but all round drum brakes on a 440 RT! Hope they are set up well

Riviera, stunning! I love C bodies but the 63 300 isn't the best styling ever in my opinion. All great cars though. Thanks as always

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

'67 Barracuda looks pretty good and still at a sensible price.
