That would the El Hemi car. Good documentary here:

That has to be one of the best short videos on the history of a car Ive ever seen. Fantastic story and what a car. I love the look of it with the colour coded wheels. Thanks for posting the link :thumbright:

Yep, I love the look of it too. Tried to make my car look like it with the stripe.

Thanks, Roel - an absolute pleasure to see you after all his time!

Glad that the Roadrunner is still trucking on too.

Yep that's him. Though strangely enough he's not wearing his coat and scarf in the video.
Very nice guy, showed me pics from his phone of himself aged around 4, standing in front of the Hemi Challenger when it was his Dad's, in about a foot of snow.
He had the car at MCACN last year.

I wouldn't say it was a car to aspire too. Mine handled like it was off rails.

 Rob, thanks for that, but I travelled 8500 miles. Might not be enough :D
I'll send some pics of my wagon build within the next few weeks.
Pete, the ali four barrel intake for my 390 Poly came from Chrysler Power, OK. The dear departed Roland Osborne sent it to me way back. :angel2:

Great story of El Hemi.
Love the photos of the kids birthdays in front of the car as they got older.
It reminds me that I need to fit my rear screen louvre.
