69 Road Runner Hood Vents

Post by Captain Chaos »

Afternoon all. I am looking at improving under bonnet temperature whilst keeping my standard hood for the moment. I’ve seen on the internet mesh inserts for the sideways mounted vents on my hood. Classic Industries seemed to do them but their website doesn’t work,am I better off just making my own or has anyone done this before please?

Thinking of something like this.

You can buy Stainless Steel mesh like that is various gauges cheaply on eBay UK - I would make them yourself.

Since when did the WHITE RR have a RED Hood???

I’d make my own also, I think it’s a good subtle solution. Given your colour scheme I’d probably go for black mesh if such a thing is available.
