Are you looking to increase rim size to 15inch or even go to bigger rims like Wheels Vintique in the Magnum style, or keeping stock size 14" rim?

Yes Matt I hope to go go for 15in magnums. What is the most common size I want to keep the car with a level stance but filling the arches Thanks Pat

I'd send Derek a 'pm' and ask what he has on his 68 Charger.
His 15" Magnums fill the arches nicely and look to have the all-important correct offset:

wow 275's on the back!
you'll need to get the correct backspacing to avoid them rubbing the arches.

Thanks for pointing that out. That's another thing I hadn't allowed for I presumed all the B body's were the same and it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks everyone

275/60 on 15x8 will go under the back of a 69/70 Coronet with plenty of room to spare if the wheels have zero offset (i.e. 4" backspace).

235/60x15 on the front will give you a slight rake, though you can always adjust the ride height with the torsion bars. If you want a level stance, a better starting point is 225/70x15, which are almost the same height as 275/60x15. The taller tyres also avoid the problem of a vertical gap between tyre and wheel arch (a pet hate for me!).

That's what I went with: 275/60 on 15x8 rear, 225/70 on 15x7 front...
