Heat crossover blocking

Post by Stu »

Considering doing this whilst I have everything apart, if not for any better reason than to try and get rid of the starting issues I get in the heat, which I’m assuming is vapor lock / fuel percolation issues.

Talk to me about methods and madness, please!? :read2:

Yes a piece of thin shim steel stuck to the head to cover the heat crossovers with high temp RTV before you fit the gaskets will do it.

Out of interest, do you know what sort of gauge you use? Looking on eBay to get some and varies quite a bit. Ta. 👍
