After searching around for a manifold for my fuel injection conversion I came across this company. Has anyone ever used them ? If so, good or bad experience, quality??

They are based in Sweden. There is only two reviews I can find. One from the UK which was negative..

I got these from there , the usual Chinese stuff, came with wrong bolts and gaskets,

But worked for me

nearest competitor is twice the price

check you credit card terms
buy using credit card. if it doesn't come get them to "chargeback" and get your money back

if its chinese stuff you might be able to get it cheaper on aliexpress
never had a problem getting stuff from there. there is just a risk that it is rubbish... its usally fine.... sent as a sample and they want you to buy 10000 more so they make an effort.

Cool I'll give it a punt. It'll save me money in labour times with Vitesse as they were intending to drill and tap'n'dye the original manifold to fit the temp sensor.

I paid just under £200 to my door, the flange isnt ss, but the rest was ss.

No leaks from the welds. I'm a bit anal when it comes to mating surfaces, so I milled the flange just make sure

But the alteratives were £600+ or even a build your own kit was twice as much.

Mmmmmmm... is it just me ??? I emailed the company and asked for a cost of shipping to the UK preferably via FedEx...( they have lost the fewest parts for me in transit...Parcelforce well in the lead having lost £1,500 worth of parts ).

The customer service answered.." We try to inform about your local VAT (20%) and having it on the site + a big text at the top of the checkout
Also at the top right corner on all pages.
Plus the purchase conditions clearly tells this once again.
We are not allowed to show prices with vat because UK left the EU (Brexit)
We try to be the best option for you regarding shipping and prices, although, I this case I believe the block would be extremely expensive to ship to the UK, along with the import duties.
If not. Please show me a better option and we work from there =)
Perhaps if you can make the purchase as a company you would be able to avoid import fees.
We build cars as well and know how important prices and a good collaboration is.

I must be thick.... It didn't answer my question...or is it me ? Or is it like Rockauto where you have to go all the way to checkout to get an estimate?

if they want to sell to the UK from a site which lists stuff in pounds for UK customers
they now have to collect VAT at source and pay it to HMRC
which means they have to sign up with UK government gateway site

so to list anything in pounds on their site they have to do this

on top of that the shipping will be subjected to VAT if it is not listed as an idnependant line item on the invoice

so they have answered a question you didn't ask.....

this is why you can't get anything anymore

in theory they can box it up and send it, like the old days, BUT becasue its value is over a certain level £135 i'm not so sure customs will process it anymore.

what they can do is send it as a gift with their cost price as its value for insurance...... probably illegal to do, but it works

you make a contribution to their buisness that is just over the value they want for the part say 10p over
i.e you have made a gesture of good will.
later they send you a gift to thank you
if the cost and the gesture of good will are not the same ... well.... it was a gesture of good will to support their buiness you were not buying anything

if they want to thank you for it, with a gift, that is their buinesss


i was looking for some clips for my clutch

parts cost £5 about $8
places not registered to sell stuff with VAT on top won't ship to me

those that will are quoteing between £25 and £50 to ship..

the only way round it is to get a UK buisness that is registred for VAT to ship it Buisness to Buisness. No VAT collected at the source
no VAT paid on landing
but you pay the VAT on the part when sold by the UK buisness

which is why i use Ron fenton at STS to get me stuff from the US

it a stupid brexit thing

that is unlikley to be sorted out as the UK Govenment has managed to reduce its wage bill for HMRC by getting the likes of summit racing and rockauto to do its VAT and Import duty collections.

leaving the EU now means that any foreign buiness that wanted to sell to you as a UK citizen can only do it if they can be bothered or can afford to collect UK VAT for the UK government.

i don't understand why we have not been rioting about this
