Leaf springs

Post by paolo_mangusta »

Have some cracks in two of the bottom leaves on one side on my 65 Barracuda (looks like the bolt through the middle was overtightened by a previous owner). The main leaf looks fine, as are all the leaves on the other side.

Anyone got any A-body leaf springs available, or failing that any other springs I might be able to cannibalise to make one good set? Things are a bit lean at present to get new ones :(

I have ebody springs available, but don’t know if that helps at all with individual leaf lengths? :dontknow:
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

easy enough to trim a bit off the ends to get them to where you need.

Thanks Stu, I can probably work something out as Neil says - whereabouts are you and what would you want for them?

Cheers,

Hi Paul

I’m in Shropshire, but I get about most places in the country if you aren’t in a desperate rush. I was asking £125 for the pair, but they’ve been hanging about, so £100 the pair?

Assuming you’re still in North London Paul, it wouldn’t be a problem to get the springs down to my workshop if that helps?
