Whilst speculatively bidding for another car I didn't need (a 64 Riviera - because I do like a Riv) I encountered this "coming soon" notice:
https://carsonline.bonhams.com/en/listi ... 3736a4f994
Estimate seems a bit optimistic imo. (Their estimate on the Riv was high too!)

Alan; whose 72 Challenger is inexorably taking over the house.
Re: Bonhams
This looks like the one that was PLY440, but plate changed, that was on our NEC stand last year.

Re: Bonhams
Yes it looks like PLY440. I saw it on Max Wolf's video from the Chelsea Cruise last week but didn't see if it had a different reg on it
If it is the same car and it reaches its estimate, that'll be a quick near-£100k profit!

Re: Bonhams
PLR440 is a 4 speed, the Bonhams cars is an auto......
wasnt there another yellow one imported in recent years that was on here?

Re: Bonhams
Bonham's write up says this car was imported from California by the vendor around 2014. So unlikely Tommy's?
And has since been in Classic American.

Not the same car as Tommy's but here's the thing, he is going to look at it and may end up with 2.

I haven't seen those type of traction bars on a car since the 80's.

So maybe Tommy has 2 Birds now, it went for £136,584 including buyers premium.Derek wrote: Mon Jun 09, 25 8:00 pm Not the same car as Tommy's but here's the thing, he is going to look at it and may end up with 2.

Very lucky. And hopefully will have both next Sunday at the Brighton Run and maybe more wing cars too.
