RockAuto issue for EU/UK - "Russian steel"

I know RockAuto is stopping the checkout of parts where the manufacturer hasn't supplied a declaration/statement confirming they didn't use Russian steel in their products.

I needed some Delphi anti-roll bar rubber bushes for my LeBaron but the order was stopped by Rock Auto. Delphi was the only brand that would fit.

The customer service email is service@rockauto.com and I've contacted PHINIA USA(who now owns Delphi) and asked them to supply the necessary documentation to Rock Auto. PHINIA has been great and various customer service and sales reps are on the case.

Bit of a faff but it's a workaround if you get stuck ordering parts...

This is occurring alot lately. I have managed to find another brand with the Ok to ship, but obviously you couldn't. Good luck with the faffing!

Same here in NI. Russian steel. Thought it was only NI with the paperwork involved now. Total Bananarama!!

Apparently it's to do with:

Annex XVII of EU Council Regulation (EU) 833/2014 (as amended) and the United Kingdom Russia Sanctions (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2023.

Phinia have created a declaration for RockAuto, but that's only for Delphi products.

Unfortunately, the anti-roll bar bushes I needed were 1-inch diameter and only Delphi ones were listed on Rock Auto.

Luckily I have a friend in South Carolina so I get things sent to her and then she posts them to me - downside is it costs so much more via that route... But it means they'll arrive next week.
