Hi Simon having bfg.s fitted to the keystones tomorrow, seats are in lookin great. will post pics tomorrow.headlinning will be next, kiwi came to see the car, he cant believe its the same car he picked up with me two months ago.have to work six days one day off then another six, dam job slowing the project.
good news is engine will go on the stand tomorrow too pull the sump, crunch time runner or do i fit a strokerkit.

keystones and b f goodrich Tyre's fitted center caps are on order. also i have painted a pinstripe along the top body line. its sitting high without the engine and gearbox in.that will soon be rectified.

seats and front carpet is in tried using cheap carpet but im not happy will sort a new set from across the pond.

thanks duncan will get the 10x15 next year, for some reason the Miss's wants a holiday in feb so i will have slow down on the spending, oh yer its our 30th wedding anniversary

Thanks for the comments guys, took a long time to make my mind up on the wheels. Duncan made it for me, four wheels for the price of one it had to be the keystones. got loads of other parts that were missing as well. had my last car ten years and had taken it as far as i could without spending silly money on it,with the tri five sold for this build the money was there and buckets of enthusiasm, good news with the 383 it has new shells and crankshaft is perfect also has a new camshaft in it, i was told it has new piston rings,the bores look good from below only light scoring on the thrust side which you would expect to see, so its going in as is.could be running next weekend three days off 36hrs that should see it fired up at least.

after checking the crankshaft shells and torquing all the caps a deeper sump went on, a few coats of mopar orange to the block, and a priming tool from kiwi and the oil system was primed. it was ready to install.
