So I've had a couple of runs out in the car.
Wednesday was Kar Klub night so I got to go show off to my mates. The trip home was properly exciting due to torrential rain resulting in zero visibilty and pools of standing water.
Those of you familiar with my rear tyre choice will be wincing.

Today was the first dry day since the MOT so it was a lot more fun! We all piled in the car for a pose around. Highlight was half a dozen teenage lads running 200 yards to catch us at a red light. I naturally rewarded them with a bit of tyre smoke :D It was Wren's first trip, which she pretty much slept right through!
What's a pleasant surprise is just how easy it is to drive and carry a family of 5. See, it's a sensible family car ;)

The re-painted passenger side is a week old so it's time to sand and buff it. I started yesterday evening and I hate it already. I broke through the paint again within minutes and the joins where old meets new aren't going to blend away. My patience for this has run out. I knew it would the moment the car was on the road!
I throughly Waxoyled everywhere too, very pleased that's done.
Sorry for the lack of photos, I'm between laptops and my phone can't shrink pics for posting!

Okay I'm done sulking now...
Spent several hours sanding today. It ain't perfect but it's good enough for me.
Today has been a day of accepting my limitations.. I'm no paint man and I'm cool with that :thumbright:
