We saw Leppard at Reading in 1980. They got a fair bit of mud & bottles thrown at them probably coz of the make up & spandex.

Three piece from Cornwall on a UK tour just now: Wille and the Bandits. Willie Edwards is a great slide guitarist, the bassist plays 6 string bass like a rythym guitar and the drummer can play a bit too. If you like blues-rock, roots and guitar in general go seem them, they are a great live act. The dreads have all gone now but the sound gets better and better

We went to see Fu Manchu on Tuesday at Islington Academy, ashamed to say it was my first time seeing them but really enjoyed it. Great sound there a usual.... my ears are just recovering now
