Things are moving on slowly be surely :thumbright:

After hours of graft with the stripping wheel, I am nearly ready for a drop on paint. With some bits n pieces going off to the powder shop shortly, I could be re-assembling very soon!

You're doing this very sensibly Dusty, doing a section at a time means that you have most of the car complete and it acts as an inspiration to crack on...I've seen so many times when people have stripped the car down to absolutely nothing and then see this enormous mountain to climb and the project gets abandoned.

when you have something that actually continues to look like a complete car, it's an inspiration to crack on.

Though with my current project, I should be the last to talk

It's looking really good mate.

You are spot on there Ivor. I can speak from experience having to abandon my first project a 17 because I had gone all guns with big ideas and eventually lost steam

It's most important to me that I use the Duster 6 months of the year, thus my reason for concerntrating on smaller sections, with the time & cash I have.

All that said, I still sail close to the wind with the work I have at the moment

The encouragment helps too :thumbright:

I have been busy again this weekend :thumbright:

Finished stripping the metal at long last!! Then it was out with the Welder, and filled in all those un-necessary holes that others had drilled in the past :? Ground back (along with one of my fingers  ), and ready to go :thumbright:

DUSTY  Dusty's garage was just that - DUSTY!! So out with the Hoover, tack rags & panel wipe and applied my first coat of 'Proprietory Rust Coating' stuff. Amazing how a bit of paint tranforms things.....

Will let that go off, then it will be a coat or two of High-Build primer, then a bit more Dust

Amazing work considering the space you have, I presume you have a side access door some where past the front of the Car?
