Some more pics..... coming on nicely
initial shaped and wired opening
Image

both openings trial fit and shape both wired
for factory finished appearance
Even the inside of the opening will be detailed to look (Better) than factory ;)

Image

Rear vent is made up of the hood vents removed joined and shortened to fit.....awesome, this bit isnt finished yet and will be detailed and shaped to look as if Ma MOPAR built it.
You can just see where the grilles have been now as if they were never there both sides....fantastic metal work by Mr McCormack...true Metal Guru 8-)

Ade,
Lance used the Original hood vents in the end as he said they were structurally stronger than the ones you kindly let me have.
..which he thought would work but were not up to it strength wise as he was worried about them bending when painted and I lent on them polishing the car

That's going to be great Steve. A real one off cept for the 1 you modelled it off. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished. Are you going for the black AAR look or stripes when you get ready to paint? What inlet manifold are you going to be running now you got some decent clearence?

Going to paint it body colour Mike and see how it looks, also doing the AAR rear spoiler body colour too

clean and mean look..I HOPE

same engine and manifold but with a super sucker spacer and more fresh air under the hood should help with lower temps

The stock rallye hood was a bit restrictive I thought, even though i opened up the twin vents for racing...it was hot and very close cleaner to hood clearance
...even without it was only about an 1 1/2 to the top of the carb ...so not optimum :thumbright:

Cheers RT,
The scoop is still to be welded in final postion on the Hood ...which is in Brentford and the Cuda in Hampshire....so not for a while
