Pete It was the same for me I was born in Plaistow. A friend of mines dad owned the cafe opposite the ground. Back in the mid 1960's I used to play football for the Black Lion pub and you used to get Booby Moore and the rest of the team drinking there. Sorry I might have hijacked this thred

The reason I put that one up Dunc is because it's a genuine numbers matching '68 Hemi car and they just don't come up and when they do, they are huge bucks...but that doesn't mean I won't get one!......

Like your style Ivor 8-)

Summat like this would suit me too.

Not impossible, but unlikley in this lifetime :(

Not my ultimate, no expense spared etc etc, but it would do ;)

Yep, absolutely rock stock and beatiful Rob...I know the A12 is by far the better car, but I'd just love the clattery old Hemi...

Bobby Yowell's 1970 Pro stock Duster, impossible to own as it got repanelled as a '73 to keep it current, and it was much abused by subsequent owners. No one seems to know what happened to whatever of it was left.

Love the paint on that Blue, I'd like to be able to reproduce that one day, so if the right car does come up, let me know! ;)

Yeah, they are pretty thirsty. Chap I know back-then who had one (stock UK spec twin turbo, so no loopy mods) used to average about 13MPG.
I can believe that, my old non-turbo used to struggle to better 20 (as did the RX8).

Rotaries. Wonderful concept, hoot to thrash. Man they are thirsty !
