thanks again for the welcome and the nice comments about the car
a million plans for the car have been floating around my head since the moment I saw it! from low rider to gasser to stock car type look, but I settled with a set of slot mags and maybe an adjustment in suspension height once I get it running and driving. possibly up at the back a few inches 70s style
but for now the engine is my priority.
my plan is to strip the 440 and see whats occurring inside.
its not the original engine, its a late 70s lump that a previous owner fitted.
The camshaft had 3 flat lobes, the lifters were ruined but the car ran without making any horrible sounds. I took the cam out and the bearings are the worse I have ever seen! im hoping the crank bearings aren't as bad..
if it is salvageable, any suggestions on how to make it perform better than its 1978 low output specs. The car came with a mopar high lift cam kit supplied by previous owner so that's somewhere to start!

Welcome Ed great car to make a street sleeper with so I suggest a stroker kit and eddy heads for the 440. Good luck with what ever direction you take you got a blank canvas so the world is your oyster

This is the only one I have at the minute. Its fairly good for its age I think. The headlining has totally disintegrated though.
