To me a music legend is someone who changed music. Little Richard, Elvis, Beatles, Lemmy, ABBA, Ozzy, Bowie...
I was never a Bowie fan but the fact the Pete Walton hates him proves what great cultural advances he made

Yea pretty much agree with you here, I was never a fan either , I liked Alice Cooper, but Bowie was on a different level, much more imaginative and way out there,Alice was flat out in your face with pure gore RIP Mr Bowie

Yeah, not a massive fan but did like some of his stuff a lot, mostly earlier, the '80s stuff was questionable! But certainly a significant musician, very sad to see anyone go at that age (funnily enough it now seems a young age to go, 20 years ago I'd have said he had a good innings!)

Hi Bowie Fans!
Yep a Legend, and as Rick Wakeman said today 'a musical Genius'!
He wasn't for everyone, nor are the BEATLES.
I also think Phil Collins is very talented and a genius as well...
Come to think of it Freddie was too!
They is all good at what they do, and did, and got well paid too.
RIP David BoWiE, John Lennon and Freddie.
At least they can bring Joy and happiness, what do footballers bring US???
Overpaid and Useless.

Only ever quite liked Starman and Young Americans, clever musician yes, legend is going a bit far in my opinion. If that was the case there would be thousands of legends in all walks of life. RIP Bowie

Pete, you are a legend, in the World of Britpars and HUMUNGUS TYRES!
So are you Don, Duncan and DaveB and many others in the UK...
Maybe not as much as Don Garlits and Dick Landy but hey, you're legends in my book along with Bowie and Jagger and Lennon.
Is being a Legend better than Armend???
I was in Films once, or twice, but I was competing with big name guys like Burton and Brando, (bacca) what chance did I stand?
