OK - its been found. The other one. The one that was hiding in a barn unrestored for years. LOADS of internet articles at the moment - ford are using it to promote the new mustang. Feels like the real deal - letter from Mcqueen trying to buy it and everything. Some valuations running to $4M !

Fantastic, sorry but if it were mine average guy, wife kids grandkids it would be sold reap the mega life changin dosh out of it, big mega photo shoot of it first, then buy another highland green 390gt mustang to relive me old dad and my youth all makes sense surely,,,

Great story and I can understand the family wanting to hang on to it. Now they have broken cover it seems inevitable that an offer they can't refuse will come in.

Yes I’d expect the competition to buy this would be hot culminating in a very high number.

Take the money and enjoy it and as Dunc says buy another GT.

Great story and nice to know someone is trying to keep the family and car links together.

But as has been said money will talk and story like this will only push the price up and up.

And with new Mustang Bullitt coming out then there will be more people with crazy money after the original.
