Just my 2p....Bacca is right. Some Master Cylinders even have F & R cast into the bodies on the outlet ports, with F being the rear-most (closest to the bulkhead). Something to do with how the shuttle valve moves over the ports in the MC....
Keep meaning to change this on Turnips Barracuda, although saying that he has notice no ill-effect, even when heavy braking had to be done after a fast pass at the Pod due to some crew and a fire truck still being at end of the track (it was an evening pass, so visibility was down).
Anyway, good work fella. Very impressed with this build-up. How about a Connected article on it in the near future?

thanks yet again guys will swap them around.when i bleed the backs first i got almost a total pedal and only had part pedal travel when bleeding the fronts that would explain it the safty is kicking in keeping the circuit closest to the bulk safe when i was bleeding the fronts should of been the other way round.i think chevy pontiac work the other way round with the fronts outer. would of picked it up on the brake testers. thanks
Great work Nick coming together
One thing.... i would put the trans cooler on the front of the rad
its the hottest thing to cool, so between a hot rad and a hot engine, its not going to do much
In front it will take all the cold air the car can throw at it, and not as much radiated heat when you park up after a drive....will help the trans last much longer too

Hi Nick,
I'm would like to make a comment if you don't mind?
I know that T/A Challenger's have that type of exhaust set up, but if you ever get a head gasket failure, guess what's gonna happen?
YEP, all that lovely agua is gonna coat one rear tyre and the rest is a BIG worry!
The other problem which seems to caused by side exhausts is fumes in the car when you drive with the rear windows down?
You're gonna say so what!
But I had my young kids in the back of my Charger and they both flaked out with fumes that you couldn't smell in the front seats.
It took along time for them to revive after the trip, whoops!!!
I think one survived Ok but the eldest is deffo got something wrong upstairs?
Not sure if it was the fumes or just too much TV LOL!
Food for thought, Bacca.

no balance pipe cause the pipes will be on the floor more than on the car.the intake has a crossover port, will go for a full system if i use it more on the road. i have run several car with oil coolers for the transmission and they cool well enough inside the rad the trans runs at more than twice the temp of the rad and will still cool. thanks for the comment's guys as you say it all takes time(and money!!) i want it on the road i will refine the car once its on the road.
went out into the garage today still freezing back into hibernation.

loads done all the wiring has been refitted and everything works. new chrome alternator fitted.mallory electronic conversion fitted to the dual point. the car ran sweet. until the fuel pump leaked and set fire to the dizzy. i was glad i put a fire extinguisher on the floor it was out in a few seconds just melted the insulation tape on the wiring loom, the pump was spraying a jet of fuel from the diaphragm joint which the dizzy set on fire .the whole dizzy was engulfed in flames worrying times to put it mildly. new set of four halogen front headlamps. front side lights are in the outer headlamps. for the rear lights i have used the reverse light as each indicator with a amber bulb. this will make it easy when i wire up a tow socket for towing a caravan.( hmm tow bar still to sort!).new front windscreen fitted from chevy motors uk ( us autoparts) £225.00 .the old one had a crack for top to bottom and was foging around the edges. wipers and washers sorted had to remove the wheel boxes and free them off they were seized solid. just waiting on a set of billet ally dual pulleys for the power steering.and a new fuel pump. then its road test time.
