If they moved the border back down to the wall I wouldn't mind. At least I would get free prescriptions.Dave81 wrote:Will I now need a passport to get past the wall?

Difference is that its established, and has been established for nearly 200 years!Trigger_Andy wrote:I guess Norway and must be in financial hardship then. You know, small nation, oil dependant not in the EU etc.
You can accept Scottish notes but you are not legally obliged too. Google it.Dave wrote:Yes it is. In the North we get Scottish notes all the time.Trigger_Andy wrote:Scottish paper money is hardly accepted (nor is it legally) in England anyway.
Well I've heard you drive up there..................Dave wrote:Complete cobblers .Dave81 wrote: A large majority of people that visit Scotland are old and wrinkly.
I will. It would probably help a lot if you only had ONE set of notes though.Trigger_Andy wrote:You can accept Scottish notes but you are not legally obliged too. Google it.Dave wrote:Yes it is. Local parks are well maintained, towns are clean. Everything seems to be getting plenty of cash thrown at it. Looking round here locally seeing rough narrow roads and towns like rough ghettoes it makes me wonder where my tax money goes. Will Scotland be the same after the vote? I know ££ billions go from England into Scotland already,I would expect that to stop as soon as independence was declared. It looks like Wales is getting much more than it's fair share right now.
I presume you have not done much research into who pays for exploration have you? I'll not bother to explain, if you're really interested (I guess you're not) its all available on-line. But to cut a long story short its not the Government. But just say you were right the revenue in the first year of production would have easily covered this.jerry wrote:Oh no Steve we can still pay for there free prescriptions, university entrance etc,and what about all the Billions we've ploughed into north sea oil exploration, we'll let them have all that aswell.
Not sure what you mean by this? What I find is the further South you go the less they will accept Scottish Money. They look at you like you have offered to pay with Monopoly Money.Dave wrote:I will.
