Apparantly that car was a clone rather than one of the originals. Still one more Barracuda gone though.

That's a relief - I was horrified when I first saw that... at the loss of the car, not for the safety of the occupants!
I think he said (on the Jay Leno program it was being recorded for) that it was only the second time he had crashed, which is quite good going for anyone who's made that many 1/4 mile passes!
I was heartened to hear that they had it repaired (rebodied) within a couple of weeks tho...

The Safety approach for that stunt was very poor.

Open windows and no arm restraints. Jay was lucky not to lose his arm when that rolled......
