Pete
If i'm not mistaken, the new mopar performance heads are stock legal, basically an edelbrock with straight plugs. Be a much cheaper alternative to max wedge heads, also US made and repairable.

Mick i have a couple of options to do this foolish mission i am on ....One is Max wedge the other is 383 ..there is a third but that ain,t an option ...If i can land a 426 MW block i will go that route ...That will be with iron heads which you can buy brand new ....two compression choices 13.5 and 11.5 ... Only Ross make the pistons....

383 i would go eddy heads and fabricated inlet..both legal,,, Mr Chandlers fav this one and the cheapest.....
