Well . This car came with a mighty demon carb which was far too big. Had my mind set on an edelbrock 650 cfm then spotted a 750 holley vac secondary for sale in a car in the show n shine at the weekend advertised for £150. Managed to haggle it for £100 cos Im tight an the edelbrock was gonna set me back £330 so quids in. Stuck it on the car, lowered the float levels and idle circuit both sides upped the timing a few degrees and what a transformation.No bogging or flatspots down my 1/4 mile lane. Really chuffed today. Just need to sort out the clocks now.
