:thumbright: Cheers Blue. Looks good.

I was planning a B&Q trip for my speaker cover, but if I’m mounting the tach to it, was worried it would be too thin.

That’s quite a large panel so unless you can bead roll it for rigidity you might consider using a bit of steel sheet instead.

Long wheel studs and a bit of delete panel paint age to kick the week off…

If you’ve never port matched an intake manifold, this is why you do it, the ports are always off to a lesser or greater degree. I do a deep match going about an inch into the manifold,

That panel looks great painted. :thumbright:

What attachment are you using to port match? Have Dremel and spare manifold…. Tempting…. :help:

I use an air die grinder. Not sure a dremel has a big enough chuck to take a high speed cutting bit.

got one of these, (you need a chunky compressor for an air one)

https://www.toolden.co.uk/power-tools/d ... 9LEALw_wcB

turned my garage into a "dark satanic mill" black dust and metal bits everyhwere, magnetic screw drivers all grew beards

so i now use it OUTSIDE only

does give you cramp in the hands eventually

it is much like an angle grinder, intent on nicking off in a direction where it should not go in order to cause mayhem.
a light touch, slow and steady is the way

basically a small milling machine in your hands dpending on tool used. get tools with a decent length shaft so the body of the grinder is not obstructing your view of the work being done. stubby short ones are easier to control but you can't see properly

check out cartridge rolls as well. good for finishing...even pattern etc

Just waiting on a couple of bits so I can finish off but it’s basically done.

Love the way this board just randomly chucks up photos in any old orientation…

I may be wrong but I think that if the uploaded file is beyond a certain size, it automatically rotates it into "Portrait" format.

If you can be arsed, try to re-size the last picture smaller and attempt to load again, you may find it goes back to Landscape view.

Nice work, BTW....

408 from my Valiant is being repurposed for the Barracuda. Unfortunately the tunnel ram won’t fit under the hood so that goes back on the Valiant. For the Barracuda it gets an air gap manifold and a custom built billet carb from that crazy guy in Utah…
