Great names keep them coming !!!!
I’m really struggling with an air leak and it’s causing a 3700rpm idle.
I would expect the hole to be huge to cause such a high level but I can’t find it and im worried it could be internal inside the heat exchanger. (Charge cooler)
With the engine running I spray brake cleaner everywhere listening for an increase in revs (as it’s flammable) but nothing.
This normally works really well!
Engine off I then stuck a leaf blower up it’s jacksie with a soaping spray bottle which worked great I’m shocked I would highly recommend it.
I found a tiny nick in an O-ring which I replaced

The leaf blower is very powerful stick this down a 4 barrel on a big block

Did you lube your 'O' rings ? I always use a thin smear of Silicone grease to aid assembly which can help prevent small nicks occurring, and it wont migrate in to any mineral based lubricants or adhesives it may come in to contact with. Our assemblies are tested at up to 10k PSI for borehole applications, NBR or HT Viton seals, never had any issues.

Thats an impressive solution. (its how we found leak around valve on my RSfocus - Car is 4 years old and wheels already corroding causing leaks - things are made of rubbish these days. Tyre off, clean valve hole, replace, all fine - but it shouldnt happen!!).
Never thought to apply principle to intake plumbing to find a leak - I like that a lot !

Nope still the same
Right let’s have it
I took an old scrap cylinder head and filled the inlet ports with silicon
I can then use this head as a butt plug and pressure test the complete intake system

Well that was a completely Bananarama! idea.
48hrs later The silicon was still soft and hadn’t cured in the slightest. I basically just decanted it out the tubes into the head.
I borrowed a desert spoon and spent an hour scooping it out.
We are learning
Got out the faithful and tried again
70psi here we come
