Go for my option if you have the headroom, start stacking them up !!!

Brand new 4 post lift, that runs of 240 Volt installed for £2200.00 best thing I ever did, the joy has come back to working on the cars. I no longer have to crawl under a car and even when working on the brakes or lights, just bring the car up to a comfortable working height, it really does make all the difference.

In thory have got room for another one the other side of the garage, but think that would be pushing my luck with her in doors !!!

Better to think about moving to that dream house with a nice big barn out the back !!! ;)

Oh FFS !!!!
Can understand their concern if they have a few bob in the bank , but what crook is going to bid on low value cars ( ie not Ferrari etc) in the hope that the seller is minted and they can scam them ??

ALL of the risk was yours !!!
Shame.

So why not just pay him via paypal? Its free for you and you get some level of protection. Use a credit card and you double up that protection. Use a card with point ie a British Airways one and you'll get free flights thrown in too. :D

I've enough points for 2 First Class flights to the US with Lufthansa built up just this year alone. Granted I spend a bunch on the House.
