No danger of that after all this work Terry ;)
I still have the passenger door and rear 1/4 to prep but I need to turn the car around first.
Once the motor's running I'll turn it around on the road and straight back in the garage!

I agree with Paul, Dave. You'll be surprised what you can do if you just take a leap. Trick is to think every little bit through before you do it & ask for advice. If you Bananarama! up it doesn't matter coz everything can be fixed.

Nice work by the way Paul, you must be over the moon with how she's coming along. Keep the updates coming. :thumbright:

Popped to see Dave Billadeau today, if you can call a 5 1/2 hour round trip 'popped'!

He's replaced the damaged valve guide.
Fitted new inlet valves, retainers & collets.
Checked the spring pressures - all were fine.
Refaced exh valve tops.
Had the heads skimmed to true them up.
Assembled the whole lot...
And made a fine cuppa :thumbright:

Once I make a bit more ebay cash I'll get head gaskets and pushrods and we'll be good to go!

Nice one Paul.
Was chatting to a fella at the Nats bar 2012. After we finally introduced our selves I was shocked it was Dave. Bloody hell I said. I'm talking to a legend !
Dave replied ( Yorkshire accent required )
More like a Bananarama! leg end !!!
Classic :thumbright:

Possibly, but he would certainly not be buying, and he'd only be there for one!!!
