Bolt-in sprag kit is the way I would go in the future. Only $100. Cheap insurance.

dave, the bolt in sprag dont do jack, back in the early days when 727 cases started gettin damaged by the sprag outer body turning in the case, someone came up with the bolt in sprag it was to repair a damaged case nothin to do with performance it saved scrapping an otherwise junk case, a bolt in sprag will roll just like a standard one lettin the high gear clutch drum speed out off control, the only thing to safeguard your floor pan and legs is either an ally high gear drum / or the new steel type drum they dont explode,

Some more advice would be useful for safety purposes. Dunc, what is a No, No? Changing down manually too early from 2-1? I sometimes nail mine in 2nd and it kicks down to first with dramatic effect (which is the whole point  ), is this OK?
